Good location and clean, staffs are nice and helpful. quite a new hotel. The foods are ok. Give good direction for local foods and shopping area. provide free taxi arrangement.
Large room with comfortable bed, plush pillows, and nice modern design to the theme of all things music right down to the toothbrush and weighing scale. Lobbyist will struggle to communicate in English but execution of requests are done swiftly. Location is a stone's throw away from People's Square and other shopping and eating places.
Comfortable and modern room but a few glitches with trying to connect to the WiFi network. A friend's room I was travelling with had more details in decor but what I had was sufficient. Quality bathroom finishings includes heated toilet seats. Included breakfast was definitely above average with a decent choice of western and eastern spread.

So you will only get the slim version without a lot of good tips. reasonable price, clean, friendly. breakfast weak, regular menu fine. cab from airport rmb 50, "report" the driver if they want more. free shuttle by hotel to airport, if you are lucky. local food in a sit down setting nearby: go up on wenhua road to other side of street, up 2F. try night market at roundabout. wireless internet weak or nonexisted. so leave your ipad at home and bring laptop.
I stayed here for two nights travelling through Urumuqi. I was quite surprised how nice the hotel was. The room was very nice and modern. There was a nice big TV, soft bed, nice view, Japanese style toilet with heating etc. Really comfortable room. Only thing that was missing was a refrigerator, which would be nice to have in the room. Breakfast was ok, but mostly Chinese food. Service was great because in the lobby and in the restaurant there was always someone who could speak English. Location was perfect in the middle of downtown Urumuqi. I would definitely stay there again.
