Our main objective of this trip was to find a hotel that is away from the crowd, quiet and near the beach, and Marriott met our expectations. The room is spacious, clean, bed is comfortable. And we love the bathtub as it is facing the sea and rounded type, perfect for 2. We tried the hotel dinner buffet and the spread and quality of food.. I’ve to say, there is more room for improvement. Quite disappointed with the dinner spread. Nearest train station is 20mins drive away - Beidaihe Station. Qinhuangdao station is about 45mins drive. It is a little far from Qinhuangdao, but because we prefer somewhere away from the crowd, we are okay with the traveling. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Marriott. (:
